Au Pair Agreement

This agreement is made between [Host Family Name] ("the Family") and [Au Pair Name] ("the Au Pair"), starting on [Start Date] and ending on [End Date].

1. Childcare Duties

The Au Pair will provide childcare for the Family's children: [Names and Ages]. Duties include playing, supervision, meals, school transport, and bedtime routines. The Au Pair will not be expected to perform childcare for any children other than those listed above.

2. Working Hours

The Au Pair will work no more than [30 / 35 / 45] hours per week, spread across no more than [5 / 5.5] days. Hours per day will not exceed [6 / 8 / 10]. Babysitting in the evenings counts toward weekly hours.

3. Pocket Money

The Family will pay the Au Pair [€/$ amount] per [week / month], paid every [Friday / 1st of the month] in cash or by bank transfer.

4. Room and Board

The Family will provide a private bedroom with [furniture details], all meals, and access to common areas. The Au Pair is welcome to eat with the Family at all times.

5. Time Off

The Au Pair is entitled to at least 1.5 days off per week, including one full weekend per month. The Au Pair will receive [2 / 4] weeks of paid vacation per year.

6. Language Course

The Family will contribute [€/$ amount] per [month / year] toward a local language course of the Au Pair's choosing.

7. Household Rules

8. Trial Period

After the trial period, either party may end this agreement with 4 weeks' written notice. In case of serious misconduct, the agreement may be ended immediately.

10. Insurance
